Extra Special People (ESP) is an Athens-area nonprofit that helps individuals with disabilities thrive! Our team had the honor of partnering with the leadership at ESP to design + build the signage and graphics for their new home. With high, vaulted ceilings & natural wood themes in play throughout the space, our goal was to fit our signage & graphic designs seamlessly into the space.
Their reclaimed wood lobby wall had a rustic, unfinished feel that we matched by fabricating a hand-brushed, half-inch thick aluminum logo. The wood theme was carried onto the designs for their ADA-compliant room ID signs, complete with braille text, and the occasional Batman/Wonder Woman pictogram. The overall scope of this project included:
-Exterior Aluminum Dimensional Letters
-Interior Aluminum Lobby Logo
-Interior suspended dimensional logo
-Interior ADA Room ID Signage
-Misc. graphics / signage
Through the years, we continue to partner with ESP on all of their branding needs from vehicle wraps to their set designs & construction at their famous Big Hearts fundraiser. As the organization has grown, it has been able to serve more children & families each year, helping over 600 individuals and their families in 2019.
